Wedding/Funeral Building Use

We would be honored to host your wedding in our church or on our campus.

The church itself seats 80 persons comfortably. An outdoor wedding space is available on the west side of the church and west lawn. The church is a simple, yet beautiful, structure basically the same as it was when built in 1856.

If you’re looking for a traditional and historic church building to have your wedding, Holy Trinity is the church for such a wedding. It’s intimate, inviting and personal.

You do not have to be Episcopalian to be married in our church but one of the couple must be a baptized Christian, that the service be attested by at least two witnesses and that the marriage conform to the laws and the canons of this Church.

In order to be married in Holy Trinity, the hope would be that you would become active members of our faith community. If that isn’t possible, then we would hope that you would join a faith community in your new location. You would also be required to take a minimum of four classes to explore the meaning of the sacrament of marriage, your compatibility with one another and the expectations of each other in a married state. This would be conveniently scheduled so as not to be a burden to you. You would have an initial meeting with the priest to review the wedding liturgy, discuss the vows and the logistics of the wedding service.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Use and Rental Policy for Parish Hall

The parish hall, if not previously scheduled, may be reserved by members of HTEC* for gatherings such as family reunions, private celebrations, business gatherings or other events approved by the Vestry.  It is expected that the area will be left as found, i.e., placement of tables and chairs and usual forms of cleanliness. Such reservation includes the use of the kitchen and its contents. If these conditions are not met, a janitorial fee of $50 will be charged.  The member of HTEC must be present at the event to answer questions and possibly offer assistance. “In addition, the parishioner will be required to sign a “hold Harmless” agreement.

Occasionally, a non-member or organization may request a reservation. In this case, arrangements must be made with clergy or the parish administrator and approved by the Vestry. The area must be returned to its original state or an additional $50 janitorial fee will be charged. Also, it will be required to sign a Hold/Harmless agreement. In addition, a representative of the organization will be required to sign a "hold harmless" agreement. It is preferred that a member of the parish be present at the event to answer questions and possibly offer assistance.

  • Members are individuals registered with the office and/or by their attendance at services give evidence of membership.
